Each line marks where a planet sat on an angle at the moment of birth: rising (AC), setting (DC), overhead (MC) or underfoot (IC). Effects are said to be strongest within about 300 km of a line and fade out by 800 km.
Tap or click anywhere on the map to read the lines near that spot. Hover a line to name it.

Pick a birthplace and the time zone fills in automatically, including any summer time in force on that date. You can still type the offset by hand. Positions are geocentric and computed in your browser with the Astronomy Engine ephemeris (tropical zodiac). Entries stay in this browser only.
